Working in Refinery Facilty of QP

1. How is it working in the Oil refinery of QP?
Where does Grade 15 come in the Refinery hierarchy.
2. What kind of Housing expenses are involved?
3. What kind of living expenses are involved?
4. How is the education facility for Indian kids?

Welcome to Doha, Masaieed is close to 40Kms..Grade 13 Could be Engineer or Designer Level..I am not very clear about it...Expats do get grade 16 (Highest Grade any Expat can join)..If you are a Senior Engineer..normally No Engineer will report to you..but there will be technical staff reporting...You can write to the person in HR directly and ask questions..Its OK to ask the questions..if Your medical is all clear...
You will most probably live in Mesaieed..and its a blessing....Bring your Kuwait Driving license with you..You will get license next day...Living in Mesaieed may be cheaper around 4500 may get you a 3 bed appartment unfurnished...Check out websites of messaid city..and qp... Also keep an eye on Classifieds of www.gulf-times.com
DPS (MIS) school website www.dpsmisdoha.com..they have daily buses with many children from Mesaieed...

I have got a job in QP Refinery in Umm Said Mesaieed. I understand it is about 40 km away from Doha!
Now is grade 13 Engineer level? Normally how many employees report to grade 15? Can an expat get Grade 16 appointment? If yes, he will report to which level in QP Refinery.
I wish to know that while working in the QP refinery, will I have to live in Doha or in Mesaieed? If you can kindly elaborate on the expenses involved in housing. I will prefer a three bedroom flat.
I will immediately choose Delhi Public School (MIS) if loggistics permit. How far is it from the Refinery and are there school buses available for kids?

From Grade 13 to 16: Housing Allowance is the same...around QR 6500 + Around 3000 Allowances (this changes on grade and position)
Grade 15: Senior Grade : 13 is the lowest and 16 Highest...
Basic Salaries: 13K to 18K depends on experience, Skill and negotiations..
Schools: All Schools in Doha..Good Schools , Delhi Public School(MIS), Birla Public School and Doha Modern Indian School: Tution fee covered by QP..
