from last December, there had been this Nissan Tida parked in front of our house (Black color). days later another Tida (Silver Color) was parked in our parking lot making it two. i believe both these vehicles belong to one person/company as the numbers of the plate only differ from one digit. (the last digit)

before there was plenty of parking around the house and parking was'nt a problem. but now that the road constructions are going on, the whole area is so dusty and dirty and top of all, less parking due to barriers and whole dug in.

we have a total of 6 vehicles for our villa and before these two vehicles came in we had ample parking and the drivers did not have any issue. But now as these two vehicles are taking over 2 parking slots, 2-3 residents have to park their vehicles about 1/2km away and walk all that way home in the dust and sun. its a 1st come 1st serve method in parking and we do not wish to argue with the other residents just for a parking slot.

i checked in the MOI site and both cars got expired istamara and the silver one has a fine of 500QR too.

i have been trying to contact Baladiya, Capital Police, Trafic Police, 999, from 10.00 am and still could not get the problem sorted due to language barrier.

can someone please tell me what the L-L-E-H im supposed to do now? i'm very annoyed with all these. these people have this department, that department, this number, that number...every tom dick and harry in this country, but when we call either the call is unattended or the person at the other end does not understand a single word of English.

i'm so tired of coping up with this situation for the past 3+months and desperately in need of a solution. our land lord (2nd party) and the original house owner is out of the country. even if the land lord was here he will be of no help at all as all he cares about is money and i do not wish to visit any police station by person as these are not my vehicles.

so is there any other way which we could get this matter sorted over the phone??

1. take the pic of the 2 vehicles

2. go to the nearest murror and inform the police and show the pic

3. Action will be taken or registered

or rent a car and move them away from the street if it is making your nights sleepless.

400QR and problem solved.

move them away from your parking without hiding them.

Don't know how did I go to China to deliver lectures etc couple of times and I don't even know Chinese. Hope those guys didn't take me to some other country where conversing in English was no problem in the name of China...:)
