Thanx King, i'll try that too, been using meebo since owen gave me the link and it's working fine, actually i like it better than the normal YM..
you can try also Yahoo Web messenger that you got in the new yahoo mail interface. If your Yahoo ID was created under UK, you might find sometimes some difficulties in getting in because of the high load on the servers there and sometimes would be even shut down for maintenance.

Tresgandas tried everything already for some reason and i don't know whta it is it just wont work...
Absolutejaguar the box of the messenger will just pop up and a couple of seconds it's gone again...

Do you get into YM and then get kicked out again? I know a few people including myself that get kicked out randomly, sometimes every 10 minutes or so.
There is a browser based version as well.
maybe your internet connection is not compatible with your YM version..remove your current YM and install the oldest one..you can find that in the google...search for yahoo messenger and that's it...i hope his could help u..

i just logon at yahoo ([email protected]). NO PROBLEM at all WITH ME.
u can restart your computer and delete all cookies and temp file.
