Maybe some people are looking after him, maybe they are not aware that he is missing.

Has Mr Umar put some posters up, and get as many volunteers as possible to distribute the posters around the Souq and city centre etc. Word will spread very quick here in Doha.

I hope this young man has been found by now and I hope he is now safe and been cared for.

Yes mental health is an illness and can happen to anyone of us at any time and thankfully can be treated too.

Rumaillah hospital has an extensive mental health department and I am sure they will be able to help this young man once he has been found, that is the key part now, he must be found before any harm.

Let's not get sidetracked and into silly discussions..

The mental illness mentioned by the OP could mean a number of things including depression.

Lets just pray/hope that he is found safe..

I have never in all my years here, heard of a child being denied entry into Qatar on the grounds of being mentally or physically challenged - that would go against the grain of Qatar's "family" orientated persona.

Deny entry to people on other basis, yes, but on mental/physical disabilities, I doubt it.

Does the blood test pick up mental sickness? Wow, thats incredible...

Maybe he came on family sponsorship and has always had this illness, since a child, why would it matter?

He's missing and his family are worried. Inshallah they find him soon.
