Hi! I am Filipino nationality currently working in UAE and got an amazing opportunity to transfer to Doha, Qatar.

I have questions related to working visa. As per my potential employer, I need to go to my home country to the Philippines to do all the required medical test, then only after that I can go back to Qatar and start my employment. Please if someone can help me.. I need advise if there is other way to do this , rather than going to Philippines as with the current covid situation it will be very difficult and cost alot.  Thank you in advance.

Hi, I am recently moved from other gulf country directly. I did my medical and documents from that country then move here without going back. It is indeed costly and more risky if need to go back first.

I agree with GLB,

I like the "Amazing Opportunity" however, please do keep in mind "All that Glitters, is not Gold" there are a lot of people who have lost their jobs and a lot looking for jobs here, willing to take anything. Do not mean to be a damp squid, however, do make a sensible decision..

All the best.

Sometimes life puts everyone in difficult situations. If your sponsor has told you what needs to be done, then he said so because that is the rule. You cannot bypass the rules and neither can he. As such, you will need to decide the course of action that would suit you best.
