Visa requirements for children of divorced parents
Hi,
Would we be able to obatin resident visas in Qatar for my stepchildren (under 16 years old) without written consent from their mother? We have been trying to contact her for three months but she is not replying. We have legal documentation to take them to another Middle East country (obtained last summer).
Is the mother's permission required in Qatar (for children to live with their father)? Would another legal document be required as evidence that the mother is unreachable? Would a legal document from her brother or father saying no one can contact her and they give permission help?
I have tried to search online but unfortunately have been able to find the info!
Thanks

Yes, It is possible if you follow proper procedure from A to Z . yes .. . .. ..
Yours is a question where one cannot find answers online. I don't think anyone at QL would be in a position to give you a satisfactory answer. As such, suggest you contact someone from the legal fraternity who would be knowing the rules of the game.
