Football Filmmaking Workshop by DFI starts May 21
This workshop is for those enthusiasts to make their own short film on this beautiful game.
Completed films will be screened at Lusail's drive-in theater during the World Cup celebrations. The hands-on session will provide a thorough introduction to the most important filmmaking equipment.
Students will learn all of the necessary techniques to make their own short film through hands-on exercises, starting with the fundamentals of narrative building and visual storytelling and progressing to the actual production of the film. The program will be overseen by a dedicated staff from Doha Film Institute with experience in a wide range of filmmaking disciplines. During the session, students will work on their projects individually and will have the option to film in famous Doha locations.
The workshop will take place between May 21 and June 23.
Classes are every Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday.
Before May 17, interested applicants must send a brief document to [email protected] describing themselves and the film's concept. The target age range is 18 to 25 years old.
