Bank Account Access Issue
Hi everyone,
Currently my wife and I have been living outside of Qatar close to a year and a half. Before leaving we settled our QNB credit card debt so we could close that account. However, we kept our QNB saving accounts open so that the money the bank withheld (in accordance with QCB regulations to ensure all personal debts have indeed been settled) could be repaid to us.
Before leaving Qatar one of the customer representatives ensured us that our accounts could safely remain open even though we would be leaving Qatar.
Currently, we cannot access our accounts or funds. I was hoping that one of the Qatar Living members might have some insight into our current predicament. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply Molten Metal. I have been in correspondence with them since about August. Unfortunately, the solutions proffered so far are not applicable.
Firstly, if I wish to access my account and funds via internet banking I need to update my contact number. The only way to do that is with a valid QID, which I do not possess.
Secondly, I was told to simply withdraw the money from an ATM. However, the debit card is expired and secondly I do not wish to withdraw that amount of money.
Call the bank branch they will sure guide you on it, you will get your money ...
