Blocked Wii

Hi we bought a Wii in December 2008 from from Rotana (now SAQR) in Hyatt Plaza it wad brand new one which would play ALL types of games, PAL NTSC and backup. It is an NTSC base model and we were told it was unmodified and we could run updates from any games. We tried this and now the machine is blocked and you can't get to the settings screen.

We have just got it back from TCC and they are saying it is because we have modified it, which we didn't and it is a software issue that they cannot fix. Does anyone know where in Doha we can get it fixed.

Do you still have the wii ?

If you have it and it doesn't work then sell just one wii remote to me. I need it badly, only one wii remote.

It was the same price as the other ones, so I don't know what they hoped to gain.
