Anybody knows where I can upgrade computer from vista to xp.Somewhere or someone I can trust not to damage my pc.And how much will it cost.
Tks in advance
Just give me a call and I can help you. I will give you more option, it's either to downgrade your vista and install XP or use dual booting where you can select which OS you want to use during the Boot up. XP or Vista
In addition to that, it is seldom that you downgrade a Microsoft operating system and it works ... try doing that, downgrading from XP to 98 and you will see the message:
"system files were changed, you can't go back or restore to your previous operating system".
I assume that you have Vista installed from the beginning, so no way you can downgrade. What you can do is formatting the current one and install a fresh copy of XP or as the members said.
Dual boot Vista and XP, but there are some steps you have to follow ... otherwise you would be able to boot and see only one of them ... especially if Vista is the first installed operating system ...
You are asking about a Downgrade and not an upgrade, well all you have to do is to change your SATA settings from the bios to compatibility and later check for the drivers if they are available. If there is not option of changing compatibility then you have to install Intel Matrix to fix the issue as your SATA won't see the XP or install it.
usually such works are carried out at any computer shops (like Sofitel hotel where alot of computer shops are..) but there is possibility that u might lose ur data coz they will format ur 'C' Drive,, so better back ur data up.. and its better to get such work done through a close friend or somebody u know or who u r dealing with for ur pc on regular basis coz XP is a licensed OS / software and most shops wont install copy due to copyright issues..
BTW.. switching from Vista to XP would be a down-grade (so to speak) as Vista is more advance and latest..
You are not going to upgrade from vista to xp is downgrade. Well take your machine to sofitel and u will find peopole to fix this. Or PM me I can give u the number of the guy who can fix this.

I suggest not to downgrade from Vista to XP , if it is really required i prefer u keep Vista copy and install XP as second option
so u can have Dual boot meny to choose if u like to boot Vista or XP
