How do I get WIFI for my laptop - Do I simply just buy a piece of software or do I have to contact Qtel?

i think ur laptop need the USB router.. u can go to lulu .. prize is 120 qr.. it work fine for most of the laptop without wifi.

Most new laptops have built-in wireless adapters. If your laptop doesn't have one you have to purchase a USB or PCMCIA wireless card adapter from the stores mentioned in the previous posts. Also you have to ensure that you already have a wireless network in the location where you will use your laptop.

If you have a built-in wireless adapater then you are fine from your laptop side, no need for a USB or PCMCIA adapters. If you are reffering to the wireless device itself then you have to buy a Router, an Access Point … depending on the situation and configure it.

Hello,

you can go to Jaidah Group company. there is a department called BCQ. they are professional with networking also they have Netgear Network products. there is a shop there for that. my advice to you go there and you will help you to solve your problem.

if your machine doesnt has it you can by a WIFI card from any shop.

You need to attach a wireless router to your modem/internet line, and if your laptop doesn't have wireless built in you'll need to buy an adaptor for it (either USB or PCMCIA).
