Need guidance in Internal auditor course

Hi,
I am working as software Quality assurance engineer.I am totally having 5 yrs exp in this field.I wish to pursue my career in internal auditing field.If i do internal auditor course shall i add my Software QA exp too? Also plz guide me which cource will be suitable for me.Thanks in advance......
