Problem with SyncMaster 940BW LCD Samsung monitor

I have problem with my samsung LCD monitor SyncMaster 940BW. One day while working its display went OFF and screen became black.I checked my video card with an other monitor its woking fine and same is for CPU. Can someone please suggest me what is possible fault and its remedy.

Is there any display on your monitor when you turn it on? (No need to connect it to your computer)

RGB or TEST screen should show.
