Purging Memory
By baldrick2dogs •
Is there any way to purge the memory used by Internet Explorer?
Here's what's happening ... As I use IE the amount of memory it uses increases (I can see how much in Task Manager.) and when it hits around 750MB it gets really slow and things like 'right click' stop working.
At present the only way around this is to close IE and open it again.
Change to Mozilla Firefox...
Before I am using IE but very annoying as times goes by..that is why i was forced to used Firefox..and now, i am not experiencing what i have experiencing in IE before
Delete all your temporary internet files and perform periodic disk clean up and defragmentation. This will facilitate the hard disc to have some breathing space.
how about deleting browsing history in your IE and then do a disk cleanup, maybe this could help.
I had a similar problem and got a copy of the program "Clean my PC Memory". It actually removes junk that accumulates in your memory everytime you use your web browser.
