what this actually mean?

Internet Explorer has stopped working......... this always pop up my screen. I dont have a clue what is the effect of this to my laptop. Coz I will just close it, still I have an access to the internet. Can you please help me on this one. I believe there is a reason why this keeps popping up! Thanks!

I think you are using Windows vista. It is common. Try to restore it from an early point.
