School admission for 2017/2018

Hello all,

I very recently arrived to doha on a work permit and I have two kids, 6 years in primary year 1 and 3 years in KG1, back at home.

And for them to have their RPs we have to wait till July/August, but I see that most schools either closed registrations or will have them in March/April. The problem is that I see in a lot of schools required documents section, they need copy of RP of student+parents !

How can I address this issue ? Is there a school that accepts to do the admission test to my sons on a visit visa with RPs coming later ?

I will really appreciate any help.

Thanjs in advance.

that's the new memorandum from supreme education council, students must have valid RP to be able to enroll or to make a reservation or appointment for assessment. i had the same issue, i can't make an appointment for my daughter even though she has valid RP because she is still back home and i need to reactivate her RP first.

Hi,

None of the schools will help in admissions unless u have your RP. certain schools dont even accept registrations without RP.

You can try for admissions mid term after you get your RP. There are chances you may get some seats.
