Any know how to do parent locking in Sun direct tv?

I want to lock the cartoon channels so that I can control the time kids spend time in front of Tv.

Thank you...for the answer...I did it now in my TV and its locked now.(Though my kids are not so happy)..Qatar living site is really useful..

It is very important kids parent itself need to lock the satelite receiver, if you it locked by uncle or aunty it will not work. take care!

use list key in remote to list down the channels.Navigate to the channel name to be locked.Then press "red" button to lock it. When you try to view the channel, it will prompt for password.Default password is "0000".
