Bad Experience, Very disappointing
Coming from my friend’s experience:
Recently, my friend went to Starlink (Al Nassr street) service center to have his mobile (camera) repaired a week ago. Yesterday morning we called them to check if the phone is ready for pick up and they confirmed that the phone is working perfectly fine.
We went there around 4:30 in the afternoon. Upon checking his phone, we checked if the camera is now okay, but to our dismay, the same problem still happened. The unit was not repaired.
My friend talked to the receptionist, very frustrated and disappointed. He asked if the technician is there and she told us that he was on morning schedule. They only restarted the unit and never checked the problem with the hardware. They didn’t even check if the unit has been repaired after restarting it. This is very disappointing. Such a waste of time.
I like to inform you guys that the fault is from their technician. We know that this company is very good company and I hate to say this but because of that technician, the company’s name (Starlink) has also been treated negatively.
This is just a friendly reminder to everyone especially going to Starlink to check the unit before leaving their premises. I am sharing this on behalf of my friend so we could give precautionary measures to everyone.
Thank you & have a great day ahead of you!
@Boxbe: The warranty is under STARLINK. If you want free of charge, bring it to STARLINK. If you are willing to pay, then bring it to INTERTEC/SAMSUNG. Simple as that. :)
Ms gerarra...come on....star link bought it from INTERTEC and sold it to ur friend...check the warranty under whose name it is ...STARLINK / INTERTEC...:)
@Godfather @boxbe: the unit is Samsung which was purchased at STARLINK, so the warranty is under their name. If we will bring it to Samsung, then my friend will pay additional for the repair.
STAR LINK are basically mobile sellers and not service providers...i agree to god father..go to authorized dealers
All the best gerarra...if they still do the same kinda repair - throw your mobile on tat technician and ask him to turn around and give him a hard kick which he will neva forget...:)
Best of luck.
@rizks: no, right there and then we returned the unit and asked for another repair, will take another 3 days.
Which make was your phone? if it was Samsung then you should have gone a few doors down the road to Sumsan and if it was a Nokia then you should have gone to the top of Al Nasser Street to Nokia! Always go the authorised Dealers.
so did you go back to them with ur faulty phone ?
@boxbe: the point is they lied when they told my friend that the mobile has been repaired. and im just one concerned individual so you guys can be informed too.
ur complaining as if they robbed ur friends mobile...lol
sorry I forgot to mention that the unit is still under warranty. but still it's not an excuse not to provide good customer service and support.
did u pay anything to them or advance
