PS3 40GB whats the deal?

What's the deal with the PS3 40gb, almost everyday i see some one's add on QL selling their PS3, which they have apparently purchased only few months ago.
I was planning to buy one myself until i noticed this, so now i am not to sure if i should get one.Can anyone tell me the drawback's if there are any.

I thought all Ps3's come with wifi, 40gb not having any is good info thanks mate.

Saurabh could you please let me know where can I go to get myself the 120gb PS3 for 2000 bucks.

40GB doesnt have wifi, no and card reader

at present its more economical to buy the 160gb one for 2000Qrs. THink about it. You get twice the hard disk space for a very less diff.

60GB is the best in ps3 version so far.... but the problem you will not get 60GB in the market ....only 160 and 80 is available....

the 40 gig version has been discontinued by sony.

Right now only the 80 gb and 160 gb exist.
