QTEL USB mobile broadband question?

Morning all,

Just wondered if anyone could help with the following;

I have a one year old brown Acer Aspire One small laptop brought from Careffore. Im moving later this week and having to give up my Mozaic tv and wireless broadband. Does anyone know wheter the qtel usb dongle thingy will work with this particular laptop, im not an expert but i do know the laptop has a usb port. If it does work is it any use i.e speed etc cost? Have read a few posts which were helpful only on the dongle alone.

yes...it will work.

regarding the speed, depending on your location you will get connectivity to either HSPA or EDGE (ofcourse HSPA is superior). Speed is pretty decent on HSPA.

regarding the rates there are a range of packages starting from Qr. 100/- per month rental charges (for 1GB & thereafter 1 riyal for every 10mb exceeding the 1GB), to the unlimited plan of Qr.400/- monthly rental.

There is a one-time connection fee of Qr 100/-
