Hey all the guys using TS.
Had one question.
Did you guys buy STB in India, and install it over their and then just pick it up and bring it here?
Can I just buy the STB in India and bring here without installing it in India? Will I be able to activate here, if yes what is the procedure?

it is not illegal as per local laws, but illegal to export out of india.. so if you manage to bring it out of india... you may freely install it here.

well first of all its illegal here in qatar unlike dubai. secondly u hv to install here but make all payments & procedures to be done in india...........

All tata sky users are actually using it illegally here.........
