Ghost Experiences in Old Villas

speedmarks
By speedmarks

Im living in an old villa in Matar Qadeem. Theres 2 old trees in front of the house. Every night between 2 am to 4 am, I get awakened by a feeling of a heavy load beside my bed and a cold chill on my nape. If I get back to sleep, a cold pat on my toes awakes me up again. But theres nobody in my room except me. I see shadows passing on my side without anybody present. When I can get asleep, I get dreams of a young woman with a long hair and her face trying to grasp some air. Last night, the door knob opened without anybody on the other side of the door. Im already getting frusatrated since this situation is almost occuring every night. All the other tenants of the villa says that theres really a ghost living in the house based from their experiences. I really dont want to go in the hassles of transfering again. Do you have any suggestions or ghost experiences in Qatar, pls share?

From my rudimentary knowledge of Islam, I dont think you can equate Jinns with Ghosts.

I believe it is correct to equate Jinns (which I am told have different rankings, etc) with what Christians would deem spirits.

Ghosts, as per the Western idea at least, are the supposedly the souls of the deceased, trapped in our own world.

Spirits however, are not of this world, at least according to scriptures, etc.

Not much of a believer in ghosts, however, I must admit, that changed in 1993 for me. Was doing some landscaping work, to help pay for university. I quite clearly heard my Grandfather speak to me. I turned around in surprise, looked, noticed him, he spoke again, and left. He died in 1991. Bizarre really. Had plenty of sleep the night before, hadnt consumed alcohol (or drugs - never have)so was a real surprise. Never happened since.

all the same thing, as JackM says.... In ME countries you call them Jinn, because thats the name you have for them...

If you believe in one, you automatically believe in the other...

Don't put people down for believing in ghosts, when you yourself believe in Jinn....

shanawazt said those may not be ghosts, but ...

those may not be ghosts, but jinns.i dont think they will harm you.....get some black coal or lotta sugar.this will help you build a healthy friendly relation with them.(seriously)

Just different names for the same thing....

no doubt on this that Jinn exist in Qatar. One of my friend also suffering from Jinn randomly & he cannot sleep alone in his room now a days. I also didn't beleive about it when my friend told at first. So one day he invite me to stay with just to beleive him. The day we stay together at night was really horrible for me. It was almost 2am someone knock the door & I went out to check but didn't find anybody. I thought it's just happaning inside my mind but after 10/15 minutes again someone start knock the window by this time & no one out there when I go to check. After that no more disturbance & we fall into sleep & suddenly at near about 3:30 I heared sound of my friend asking my help & when I switch on the light I found him in the other room lying on the floor almost naked. When went to touch him he made a scary sound & I went outside of the home call to my other friends over the phone & after half an he became normal. That was really a memorable night in my life.

According to my housemates, my room is quite lucky coz the previous 2 occupants got a job at QP. Hmmmm... Im befriending who this ghost is. I wish might end up with the same situation as the other 2 before me. Anyway, would a house warming do the ghost job?

By edifis• 30 Jul 2010 15:46

Drac she has to be brave and not be afraid of 'Ayat Al-Kursi' and 'Surah Al Baqarah'. She has to remember that she is not an ordinary jinn, she is a vampire! Technically only Jinns are scared of these verses. So remind her every day that she isn't an ordinary jinn.

The big house in the left as you enter into Wakrah?

That's such a shame that no-one's lived there for so long - it's a beautiful house. I live nearby so drive past it everyday. It needs a family in it.

I know the houses you are talking about, its close to mine

And I know the caretaker of the house as well because we go to the same mosque

Its not haunted

In fact just recently a family has moved in there

but the house has a sad tale

there were a couple of quick successive untimely deaths including that of the owner around the time it was completed

this was followed by a long legal wrangle (decades long) about who gets to keep the house due to which no one lived there for a very long time

I cannot believe what I am reading and the misinformation. Ok, if you like, try the sugar and all that other stuff and then when you REALLY get tired of all of this you have some choices. I saw one that was good, Ayat Al-Kursi, from the Quran. Another method is to go on the computer and go to You Tube and play Surah Al Baqarah, now this has to be done every 3 days. They dont like to hear this and they will leave immediately. As far as 'ghosts' there is no such thing as ghosts. These are jinn, that co exist with us and are not trying to interact with us in a friendly manner. This is very misleading, they cause mischief, illness, injury and problems between families. This is serious, not a joking situation, this can affect your life in very negative ways that you cannot even imagine. The final option is to call in a Sheikh and ask them to aid you (but you then have to be careful of false 'sheikhs' that perform witchcraft!) The Skeikh should NOT ask for money or any belongings to help 'ward off' the jinn. If they do this is a tell tale sign of witch craft which can in turn produce MORE problems. You can be rid of them though (jinn) in the house, you just have to take the proper steps (you would do this if you had cockroaches, right?). And for all of you that are going to make fun of this, dont make a judgement until you lived with this, this is part of the 'unseen' that Allah has created. If need be I am willing to give sound proof of these types of situations from the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS).
