KAHRAMAA customer service
Have you experience bad service with Kahramaa customer service recently?
Well, I got one this morning when I requested for the reconnection of my line. I know it is my fault of not paying my bill in time but I really dont deserve to have unfair treatment with regards to this matter. I came around 7:45 morning to salwa road office to request for an electrician to resume my connection. After two hours of waiting for the electrician, I finally got back my connection at 11:05 pm (including travel time from salwa road to al nasser area). The person incharge or dispatching electrician has given priority to other nationality (qatari, indian and westerners)well in fact, i came ahead of them.
I approach the customer care incharge that time to file my formal complain but to no avail. I even called 991 a lot of times and given my number to their manager and promise that they will call me back in 20 minutes but its been 3 hours now had past but no calls I got.
Moral lesson: Always pay your bill on time to avoid this in-efficiency of people working in this department.
You got reconnected in ONLY 3 hours, 20 minutes?? and you're disappointed??
Do those 3 hours include the time you took to pay the bill??
I remember when it was a ministry you had to go there before 6am to get anything reconnected the same day.
This is what happens all over the world. It is frustating, I respect that, but it happens. Now you have learnt from it; never again will you not pay your bill on time! Lesson learnt.
calamitypain - That is the problem with this people, they can cut your line easily but you had to loose first your patience before you can get your line back. As I said, it is my fault of neglecting to pay it on time but to get this kind of treatment really pissed me off..
If you don't pay a bill, you pay the consequences and the fact it was reconnected the same day is good! If you have your electricity cut off for non payment of bill in the UK, it can take days for it to be put back on and you have to pay a fee.
