I Alhamdullilah don't feel this way.Maybe its cos I'm a mom and hence hardly go to the masjids but in my circle of friends everyones thrilled its Ramadan and we all enjoy helping one another. Mind you all of us are from different countries too. Majority of them are American and Arabs, yet the love and sisterhood we share,specially in Ramadan is unlike anything I've experienced anywhere else..Innalhamdullilah!

I dont know about your second and third point.

But i agree to your first point. Its been few years i have been noticing the same thing. The number of people who comes for tharaweeh and other prayers reduce day by day and diminishes to single saff or line at the end. Not only in one masjid, it happens almost everywhere.

It might be cos ALL of them go for vacation during that time OR they go for shopping and sheeshing. And yeah, Qatar roads are of bit traffic that time now a days!

Its quite different where I come from. First few days the masjids will be over flown and in mid of ramadan it diminishes and at the end specially in those days of Qiya mu Lail.., Masjid will be full.

Due to summer and the holiday season many are out of the country and that is why you see less people in the mosque. I dont know which mosque you are mentioning in your post as the mosques I used to go are still full.

How did you evaluate that nobody is happy and enjoying Ramadan? Ramadan is the time for fasting, praying, reading Quran and doing good deeds to get benefits from the Almighty and is not for enjoyment. I am seeing hundreds daily who are happy.

Helping others are not to be published. As per the Islamic teachings the left hand should not be aware of alms which are given by the right hand so it should be done with privacy.

Thats not correct.....probably it connects with Holiday season; more families flown back home;

it is very HOT and Humid.

We do help others always...may be it is just 11 days passed. Check out again!
