Tayf by Qatar Charity is a collect in-kind donation format that accepts everything from clothes, toys, shoes, appliances jewelry to cars. So, instead of wasting or throwing away perfectly good things, a donation to Tayf would be ideal. The boxes are usually available outside marts such as Al-Meera or other 95+ collection points in the city, but if you’re looking for a specific location, you can always find a donation box on their website.

Hifz Al Naema
As part of Eid Charity, Hifz Al Naema is the first food bank that opened in Qatar. However, their Charitable Warehouse is always open for donations of appliances, furniture, and clothes that are later redistributed to individuals and families in need. In addition, the Charitable Exhibition that they hold has the excess donations that they have and they sell these at a minimal price to families in need. They also pick up donations so you can contact them directly on their number as well.

Sheikh Eid Charity Foundation

One of the largest charitable organizations in the Middle East, this humanitarian organization is not just focused on people within Qatar but also abroad. They globally support various sectors including health, shelter, education, livelihood, and cash assistance as well. You can give them a call and they will come and pick up your donations as well!

This might be the easiest way to connect with someone. Support groups on Facebook and community websites like our own, Qatar Living, will always help you connect with the right people. If you’re looking to donate your old towels and beddings, you can also donate them to QAWS and Paws Rescue Qatar.
