There was more trouble for a Qatari party trying to hunt the rare Houbara Bustard in Balochistan province when Pakistani Security Forces arrested 16 members of the team at a checkpoint.

According to official sources, an advance party, going to Mashkeel for making arrangements for the hunt, ignored Levies personnel’s signal to stop at their post and tried to escape by breaking the barrier in the Galngoor area of Noshki district, reported Daily Pakistan Global.

“The security personnel chased them and detained 16 people travelling in four vehicles,” a source said.

The Levies also seized the four vehicles, adding that arrested members include three Bangladeshis and 13 Pakistanis.

There has been some resentment among local populace over the central government giving special permission and licenses to come and hunt the Houbara Bustard, a rare species whose meat is much sought after.

Rave is right, fully agree, only a few people know how to read the news, they just take it at it's face value , this is the main cause of confusion in the general public about a simple news, which is made big due to mis-interpretations ......... ........

Britexpat: Yes, I have checked the news. It was an advance party on way to a place called Mashkheel for making arrangements for the hunting of the houbara bustard by the Royal family. The advance party ignored signals from the paramilitary forces to stop at the check post. For reasons still not known, they gate-crashed and tried to drive away. They were chased and arrested. There were no Qataris around or involved.

Another one ? ............ We should not co-relate the two different incidents, life is fast, we pass through so many hurdles since sun rise to sun set ........... .......... ..... Let a small incident remain smaller .............. ...... ...........

acchabaccha: Well spotted .. So this was an advance party of workers going to set up the hunting area.... It seems QL News is like Fox news :O)

QLNews: 13 Pakistani + 3 Bangladeshis = 16 people. Where are the Qataris? Your news does not clarify if any Qatari was not arrested. The news is totally misguiding as at first reading it goes to give the impression that Qataris were in trouble. That may not be the case.

I just hope my calculations and readings are correct!

May be they did not see the signal to stop. May be the signal was given in a lazy manner. May be something else took place & this is a story. ................
