I have no intentions of BREAKING THE LAW this is why I was asking the question... don't get so defensive about it.

Its totally ILLEGAL, please learn to respect the law of the place u have come to live and make easy money, imagine if u or some one tries to break the law of ur country of origin, how u will react, we all know what it is like if u break the law and caught here or any where, be sensible and do not think or behave as if u can do any thing u like

Reasons for YES :- It's you who is taking the risk, it's your life and your decision.

Reasons for NO :- If caught, you & your partner will be behind bars for 365 days and will be deported on 366th day and will be banned from re-entering into qatar for not less than 1095 days.

Only if you maintain LOW PROFILE & SECRECY otherwise its totally ILLEGAL

.

And I just don't understand why ppl prefer to live together as SINGLE / GIRLFRIEND or BOYFRIEND instead of getting MARRIED

Straight forward answer is : NO they can not!

Possible answers is: As long as it is low Profile yes they could (but let me tell you maybe your neighbours like to gossip and they could get you into trouble)

And definitive answer is : Marry first then come here and live together.

That's how it works here in Qatar

Regards!!
