Child Birth In Qatar
Hi,
We are from North India (Delhi)
Me and my Wife are currently living in Doha. My wife is under my sponsorship and we both have valid Visa and RP's.
My wife is 24 weeks Pregnant and we have been consulting a OB at a private clinic until now.
My medical insurance doesn't cover Maternity , so had to apply for Hamad Medical card and should be getting it in a weeks time.
I wanted some advice on what could be best for us:
I am thinking she could give Birth to our first baby in Doha .. In Hamad Women Hospital.
But i am uncertain about some things.
Firstly Men are not even allowed to be there.
So my Mom and Dad are planing to visit us and stay here with us.
How easy will it be for my Mom to accompany / Understand / follow the hospital instructions as she is the only one who can accompany my wife in Womens hospital. My Mom doesnt speak English much. she only knows Hindi.
Or should i consider sending my wife back home, so she can give birth in India and i better use my vacation to go to India during that time.
I just need some advice on this and thank everyone in advance.
