Citizenship for NZ babies born in Qatar?

I was just wondering if there are any NZ citizens here in Qatar, that have had any children here?
If so, what is the process to getting the baby's NZ citizenship and passport and was it very difficult?
The fact that we don't have an embassy here, seems to make it a bit harder than it is for some other nationalities, and reading over the application form, it seems as though there are some required documents needed, that aren't provided in Qatar.

If anyone could help with some info, that would be greatly appreciated.
