Salam alikum,

I would be grateful if you can answer my question.

I have a mariage proposal from an egyptian man who lives in qatar.

He is already married, and he told me that he can't be my spensor because government allow him to spensor only one wife because he is not originaly from qatar. he lives there since 2005.

Is that true? and how can protect my rights as second wife if I live in qatar.

I've read the regulation for sponsorship here in Qatar and I've never come across a provision stating a limit on the number of wives a man can sponsor. But I could be wrong, never had a second wife.
