But I'd drop the milk out of the honey&ginger combination.

Again this is a symptomatic cure and not a cure for the infection/allergy or whatever.

Crush grated ginger in teaspoon of honey and have it every half an hour. Will save you a lot of energy if you crush and keep some.

Also try not having chilled water or drinks soon after you come in from the heat. At such times, water or drinks must be at room temperature whe they are consumed.

Hope you're feeling better soon.

Sorry, but are you losing a lot of weight or have you lost quite a bit of weight? If so, and you are still experiencing this persistent coughing, you might be infected by Tuberculosis. It is spread through vapour which is why many people get affected unknowingly.

Taking too much of antibiotics will lower the immune system in your body and you don't want that to happen. Go to a hospital (Doha Clinic or Hamad Hospital) and get yourself thoroughly checked.

Take care!

boiling milk with ginger and honey, Drink this hot, careful not to burn yourself. It should provide a calming effect to an irrited throat. Avoid going out when too dusty as this irritation may be triggered by alergies. If any cough persists for more than a month you should see a doctor for a referral to a specialist. Hope this helps...

Do not take antibiotics in early stage. I think u feel nauseous or retching. antibotics and syrup r for tracheal infection which comes from ur throat in late stage.

in dry season, avoid spicy food. when u just feel uncomfortable in throat, start the medicine for pharyngitis, u can also take them now.

Also, for pharyngitis, it will take time to recover because it's one of the difficult place medicine works on.

Now, as i said, u can

1. take medicines for pharyngitis

2. avoid spicy food

3. use steam before sleep, inhale warm/hot steam deeply

hope u recover soon.
