does it annoy anyone else?
i'm trying to purchase a playpen for my son, i have tried searching the web for website here in qatar, but struggle to find what i want!
baby shop a no! just the travel cot size, Toys r us, doesnt seem to have a website here! just the uae, chicco, no website for qatar! now is it just me that is doing something wrong?? whats the point in showing me a global/ UAE websites when i only want to know if the product im looking for is here in QATAR!!!!!!
If anyone knows of any websites or shops, can u please let me know, beacuse it looks like i'm going to have to ring every childrens shop in doha in the morning, probably for them to say, ''yes we have playpens" to which i will relpy, not travel cot sized ones, i mean 10 ft octagonal or square ones! and then they say 'no sorry'
maybe im just a grump, but it would of been far easier to have a working website and i could of looked by now and probably driven to the shop and paid for it!!
Yes, it is very annoying and I feel your pain!! I've had the same issues when I'm researching things to by for ours which is on the way! The only thing I could suggest would be, if you found something on the Toys R Us site somewhere like the UAE, short of going over or getting someone to bring it for you, phone the Doha store and see if they'd order it in for you?
There probably isn't a dedicated Qatar website and your searches turn up only those closest (UAE) or that cover the world (global) in the hope one will have the info you need/want.
Ask here if anyone knows where you can find these items/brands - narrow your search here and other Qatar websites (expatwoman for example).
Is it annoying that the marketplace here is not considered big enough to set up a webpage dedicated to it? Sure. Is it surprising? Not IMHO
