Doing a questionnaire briefly

Guys,
I am currently doing a bit of research on the subject of corporal punishment in schools in Qatar. If there is any student currently in school in Qatar or a parent of one, would it be possible for you to answer a couple of questions (they're below) on the subject?? I'm aiming to get as many first-hand (and please give sensible answers!) experiences of the situation. Anonymity is guaranteed upon request, as this is referring to the situation in general rather than pick out scapegoats!I'm looking at all schools in Qatar rather than just one or two dealing with specific curriculums...
(If you could add what system of school this was (i.e.if it was British, American, Indian etc.) that would be great)
1) Has corporal punishment happened to you in school?
What did you do that the teacher disapproved of?
2) How were you punished?
3) What happened afterwards? (i.e. did you or parent complain, and how did the school react and deal with it)
4) Do you agree with coporal punishment in schools? Why do you agree/disagree?
5) Should this form of punishment be left entirely up to the parents or is it ok for the schools to carry it out?
6) If you are a parent whose child has suffered from corporal punishment at school, what effect did it have on your child?
7) Are schools apparently aware that corporal punishment is illegal in Qatar? (come to that do they also disrespect any ban imposed on it in the home country?)

If it's possible to get responses in over the next week or so, this would be great!
Many thanks guys for taking the trouble to answer!

Thanks for the advice folks, but I'm giving people the chance to say a few things for themselves...besides this isn't the only place I'm doing "research" - i have other channels I'm using to get info...But anyway, as I said, i'm just looking to see if people had anything to say!

:-P

journalist girl, i think it would be best if you do your work by following the proper/correct statistical procedures so that your result will be scientifically acceptable. Do some research first about random sampling. just an advice if you dont mind.
