i was driving yesterday in al sadd when i turned left on the traffic signal at the corner of toys r us coming from ramada signal and that particular road is a 2-way lane when i noticed this mitsubishi galant coming in my direction; he actually was in my lane (counterflow) and guess wahat he did not mind being on my lane and he was using his celfon and not wearing a seatbelt and he even had the guts to stare at me menacingly! what could i do? i was with my wife and 3 year-old son that time, all i could do was stare back at him and shook my head in so much disgust. why are these kinds of drivers allowed to drive?! that guy was so ignorant and arrogant! i hope he will meet his match someday and i do not want to be that one, stooping down to his level is not on my agenda tsk!

actually he's an expat like me so he does not have the right to say i do it becasue it's my country, i think it's just the way he drives in his country wherever the hell that is! i was just so irritated that he even had the nerve to be so arrogant!

i've been driving for 4 years now in doha and that was the worst experience i had on the road

Welcome to Doha :)

U will get used to these things once u have been driving around here for a while...

People have no clue what signals mean or who's supposed to give way etc...

Just drive defensively and be aware of the cars around u especially in round-a-bouts...
