Anybody experienced Emirates?economy class particularly. how was it??
i will be travelling with my 2 yr old kid via Emirates this June. it will be a long travel to the Philippines and first time with the airlines coz we usually go with Qatar Airways.
thanks everyone for ur mostly POSITIVE feedbacks. i got scared coz i read online on some reviews and i was not too happy about it. i was relieved though with ur mostly good experiences with the airlines.
I once travelled through Emirates Airline 8 years ago via MNl-DXB sector but while having a flight via DXB-Doh our flight was delayed for 2 hours . Anyhow, that was my first time to travel abroad but right now I preferred QATAR AiRWAYS all the time :)
OP- If you are going to travel with your 2 year old kid, i suggest go with QA.
In emirates, you have a stop over in Dubai, for 3 or 4 hours, and you have to take a long walk to get to the next gate., and bringing your luggage and your 2 year old kid is a hassle, however if you are accompanied by another adult, then it is fine as you have a reliever in carrying your kid.
i tried both QA and Emirates and personally i liked Emirates more although we stopped in DXB for 1 hour (transit) but that added extra fun for the flight.
I traveled with my kids last year and the crew came to offer free instant photo for us and gave some toys for the kids which was nice of them

> had a bad experience once with my family when we travelled to DXB in 2011.
> But just recently (First week of may), i felt comfortable and happy especially seeing beautiful attendants, they are very accommodating....:)
Emirates has that touch of class something QA lacks severely.
Emirates' is the best!
Emirates
emirates, singapore etc. are the "real deal". QA is just a "wannabe" with all their "me too" gimmicks.
emirates is what QA tries to emulate. the only minus point taking EK from here is the dubai stopover.
If you already are happy with Qatar Airways, you will be happier with EK. Dont worry...
Emirates is the best!!!! Go with them...awesome service...Sit back, relax and enjoy your flight with Emirates:) Fly Emirates, Keep Discovering :)
No:1 Flight.........No Doubt....Enjoy the Journey....
ITS VERY GOOD ...HIGHLY PROFESSIONALS... IF I GET ANY FURTHER CHANCE I WOULD LIKE TO GO THRU EMIRATES ONLY.. NO DOUBT ABT THT
Emirates any time
If you need assistance to get from one gate to the other, they have these golf carts which will ferry you, just ask for assistance.

Have a safe flight!
Emirates for me all the way :-)
Just last week for weekend trips with my family to dubai, emirates twice failed for given good services (round trips at once).
(1) Doha-Dubai Flight delayed in doha for 3.5 hours
(2) Dubai-Doha Awful not comfortable, the pilot and
cabin crews in rush to reached doha and my daughter
while arrived in doha, hit by Terminal swap credit card
machine by one stewardess.
I don't like both airline
i am loving EA
if you don't mind a stop over, it's far better then any other airline. i traveled in emirates to states and didn't had any jet lag.
Emirates much better than QA.

Better than QA in terms of the aircraft (wide body) and inflight services. Make sure you allocate the first row seat and request for bassinet.
you will get good hospitality.. n services.. its awesome..
its good
