Is this fair?
Is there anyway to check whether the agent is asking for exorbitant rent rate..? The guy is asking for one month commission(12,000QAR) also for a three bedroom villa.
Does Municipality have a stipulated rent for each bulding/compound? Where do I go before committing a big mistake? :-(

Half month commission is the normal rate..

I checked that Villa, its not worth for that money...the compound is good...but its fully unfurnished... that means you need to buy everything from curtains, ACs, furniture and appliances, rooms are very small except the living area.. you can get fully furnished villa for that money..Are you particular about the location? If not, I found one near DPS school it is furnished, single storey villa with 3 bedrooms...its only 11000 with one month free and NO COMMISSION.
Sir, I desperately need a place with bedrooms in the ground floor because of wheelchair bound person in the family. This place suits our needs.
