Here is the list of the museums which are open in July 2020:

Museum of Islamic Arts (MIA)

Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art

Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art is now open with precautionary measures in place!

The museum is located at Education City, Qatar Foundation, and it is open from Sunday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Visitors will need to show Ehteraz App at the entrance and wear a face mask.

Fire Station

Picasso’s Studios exhibition is taking place at the Fire Station, Gallery Garage from July 1, 2020, to November 1, 2020.

Picasso’s Studios, organized in partnership with the Musée national Picasso-Paris, looks at the intimate examination of Pablo Picasso’s places of creation throughout his life, from his arrival in Paris around 1900 as a young artist to his last stay in the South of France, in the city of Mougins.

Picasso occupied many studios over the course of his storied career, and they bear a close connection to his development of iconic movements in Modern art history.

From the exceptional collections of the Musée national Picasso-Paris the objects on view range from landmark paintings to sculpture, drawings, engravings, and ceramic works. They are the works that Picasso kept in his studios, the works from which he did not want to be separated from.

Tickets must be purchased online in advance of your visit.

Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum

A unique setting that is home to a marvelous Islamic Art and Qatari Heritage collection, in addition to hundreds of carpets, cars, and coins!

The museum is open daily. For an exceptional experience, adhere to the safety measures to keep you and the staff safe.

At the museum, you can get a painting with your name or the name of your loved ones in Arabic font that you choose yourself by the hands of the professional calligrapher, Mohamed Bougherara.
