Hi..

Can any member help me that, is there any Clinic in Qatar, who can provide Gender Selection before pregnant. Why I am asking is that, I have a baby girl 4 years old now. I am now looking for a Boy this time to balance the family life. In our family I am the only son to my parents, hence our entire family member are looking a boy from me at this movement.

Can anyone help for suggestions and recommendations …. Thanks.

Dear all,

gender selection is NOT about abortion or sex change. It only ensures Male sperm containing XY chromosome reaches the female egg.

i wish to clarify --- not only in UP and Bihar... the female foetus is killed by parents .This practice is more rampant in other North Indian states like - Haryana, Rajsthan etc...

No matter ,Sharia approves or not, It is a cruelty. Only due to biolgogical reason, a foetus can be killed. not on the basis of sex.

Just think of yourself --- Your parents preferred to have a boy and you are there !!!!.. But see later what happened... How you turned out to be.....LOL

To start with, there are a lot of sex selection techniques over the Internet. And my second advice to you is that you and your wife consult a doctor to aid you with the sex selection techniques. Sex selection is possible, a good timing, for instance, with the girl's ovulation schedule may help in coming up with the desired sex of a baby.

You should accept what is given to you: boy, girl, healthy, sick, enabled, disabled...

Reading his question i didn't get any hint that he would abort if, indeed it turned out to be a girl. Stop jumping to such conclusions people...there is nothing wrong in wanting to find out what the gener is of your child. I did and i live in the middle of London. It helped us prepare for her when she arrived, clothes, toys, nursery etc...

To say that people who try and find out what the gender is are uneducated with low income goes someway to show how racist and discriminitve some people in Qatar really are!

I understand you. There is nothing wrong in gender selection, but aborting a baby except in very rare circumstances is wrong and a grave sin.

It is sharia approved and is available in Dubai.I dont know about Qatar.

I guess it gets done routinely in infertility treatment,if wanted by parents. Not sure.

All the best.

before checking his profile, I guessed his nationality.

And my guess was correct..he is INDIAN ..!!!!!

he claims he is "Head - Marketing"..ha ha...he must be talking in English....suit, tie ...the yuppie paraphernalia.... but intellectually ZERO.

what the hell will happen, if the second child is girl ?

if you lead a life without sons, is the life zero ?

who taught you all these my friend ?

can you pls go back to fields in UP and Bihar - the best place for you

( sorry friends, I know I am rude...but it is better than killing the foetus in the womb. I wish he should arrested either in India or Qatar )

It is disgraceful to ask such a question!

Your Country has a serious gender imbalance because of attitudes like this. As a western reporter said basic healthcare is unavailable in most of Indian slums but every one has numerous ultrasound and pre natal screening facilities to ensure male births. For G...s sake move into the twentieth century (twenty first will have to wait longer). Should you be considering whether you should be a parent at all with such an attitude?

i don't mean to be rude but you are leaving in a stone age life.

in india gender varification is banned becasue of this male child oriented mentality now you guys start it here in Qatar..

you are the only son? so what?

what if you get a baby girl??

grow up. i was not expecting this from a educated person.
