I would love to meet genuine people and make good friends, i'm not one bit racist, but would prefer english/western friends, this is purley because and here i will explan, which i hope i dont cause offence!!
Brits and westen world are very different to other nationalities, we like drinking, dressing different, different views, different cultures etc.
i really dont think an arab lady would be interested in making friends anyway, due to the culture side of it!
I have often wondered what the doha mums club is like? and wondered what mix of nationalities i will find there, i am quite happy to mix with older people, i am yet to find people in my age group with children! I'm 26! has anyone had this question and how would you find friends of same interest's, same culture, etc

thanks

what do u want

hi, thanks for your reply, i would love to make friends with different nationalities, i just though, with different, cultures, different lifestyles ect, they wouldn't want to become friends with a Weston person.

i have no problem meeting different people, but lets take the local women for example, they have maids and nanny's and would not be interested one bit coming for a coffee and a natter, obviously, there is the language barrier also. so its not that i wont meet different people, it was more practicality than any thing else x

no matter how you rephrase it.. it still sounds offensive.. u never know how you make new friends.. I had a friend in college who was a total opposite.. but we just were bestest of friends.. actually it could be more interesting to have friends from different cultures and nationalities.. if you don't want to mix with "others" then why are you here?

anyways.. I hope you find a friend..

and I advice you to go to www.expatwoman.com( Qatar section), they do morning coffees with expats and many other events!

Good Luck..

p.s... your post was not offensive to me....

I've met a few of the Doha mums. They seem an OK group.
