21st Century woman has many added engagements which their predecessor never had. Add to this, office jobs are no more 9 to 5. No woman can do justice to family and office at the same time. It is tough to handle office politics and keep your cool at home. One tends to take their anxiety home. Unless a woman feels she is incomplete without a job she should opt for staying at home.

Children who are taken care by their parents usually shine in the future. Mother has a role to play as well as the father.

but after i had my 1st child i settled as a fulltime housewife and mother...now ive got 2 kids. my hands are tied and always busy at home. being a fulltime housewife and mother is the type of "career" wherein you don't get paid, no days off, no vacation or sick leaves, no overtime pay and no resignation...but pls don't condemn me for i am happy personally attending to the needs of my husband and kids...so for me, hats off to fulltime housewives and moms!!!

even if its been like that I still manage to have time for myself, its important i guess.. I should love myself in order to give love to others (my family and friends)

Housewife or career? If a woman chooses a career does that mean that when she comes home, her duties have stopped. Theres still things to be done, so infact a career woman is still doing both, unlike some men who when they arrive home, they sit their azz on the couch and call it a day.

Despite the fact that some men think being a housewife is a long "holiday", its a 24/7 job, just one thing missing is the wage.

For the 21st century i think its time we had house husbands...
