How to get Humax card
Hi all,
Pardon me as this might be a stupid question, but I just moved to Qatar from Australia and few things are so different to me here.
In my new apartment, the owner has provided a Humax satellite receiver. This shows lots of channels, but mostly they are Arabic channels which I am not much interested in as I do not understand it. There are some channels like Fox Movies, MBC Max, etc which show English movies and shows.
I want to know if I wish to get other channels, where should I go to buy a card for it? and what type of packages are available? I am most interested in watching cricket world cup (which I guess is being showed in CricOne channel only), so please let me know how to get that channel. I currently do not have resident permit in Qatar. Will that be a problem since Humax receiver and connection was included in my rental package, so its probably under owner's name. Please help soon.

and the Pehla Card do not work on existing/old Humax Reciever..
The rates are QR 672 for Four Months and this is the minimum you have to pay.
For 6 months it is QR858 but it gives you 2 months free which is a better deal...
You will get the reciver free of cost at samsung showroom at Al-Naser opp to FFC. just u need to buy pahela card. hope still free reciver offer is going on.

Thanks Khanan, but I thought I already have the receiver since I am already watching few channels. So does that mean I just need to get Pehla Silver card ??? or do I need to buy Humax card containing Pehla Silver ??? I dont understand is QTel providing channels on Humax receiver? Do I need to buy a receiver as well or just a card? Thanks in anticipation for clearing my confusion.
