How much I have to spend for a housemaid ?

I am planning to bring one srilankan housemaid directly from srilanka ,Can somebody tell me,how much I have to spend to hire her personally ?( not from an agency)from ageny I think it is from QAR.9000 to QAR.12000 & which document I should prepare ?

Thank you sooooo muchhhh bluepantherback,only in one reply I got almost everything.Can u pls.elaborate what are Sri Lankan formalities ? & which Insurance I should take for QAR 400 ? life/health ?? Insurance company ??

QAR 2,000 deposit (refundable) - Sri Lankan Embassy

QAR 1,800 Visa

QAR 100 medical

QAR 1,250 airline ticket

Sri Lankan formalities including insurance Around QAR 400

Once you have the visa approval then obtain the contract from the Sri Lankan embassy.

Fill in the details (contract/forms) - housemaid salary, your address etc.

Contract/form along with your salary letter and maid visa to be taken to Sri Lankan embassy (opp Al Emadi hospital) - to be stamped.

Maid to take the stamped contract to Foreign Employment bureau in Sri Lanka.

Maid to have a safe flight to be with their welcoming host. If she ain't good - your hard luck. With an agency you can complain and they'll provide another resource.
