I am interested in knowing everything.
LOL i know everything is alot. But its just i dont know anything about Qatar and i am very curious.

So iff anyone can answer my questions. I would be very happy.

I mean is it common for women to work there. Or do they stay home and take care off the children.
Can a single woman just walk alone to a store and buy something without people finding it weird.
Do women and men celebrate weddings together for instance.

All u know about Qatar plzz tell me.

30 % of the native ladies are at work .. when I arrived in Qatar I was surprised that the security guards were female that at the passport control I was checked by female officers ...

you will find working women everywhere - nobody is shocked at that : supermarkets , schools ,hospitals ,clinics ,government offices so on ...

there are no official female taxi drivers

though you can sometimes read ads of ladies who offer their car and driving skills for other women ..

the local public transport is invaded by male labourers - it is not a comfortable way for a woman to ride those buses still you have the right to do so and some women use that ..

at many restaurant you can find family sections to separate lone males from families ...

however at big malls everyone is eating without being separated ...

most men are polite to women = they keep distance

some services for women are overpriced compared to the same service for men ( beautician , hairdresser's etc .)

there is no municipality beaches at all - so there are no ladies only days either ... only at some expensive clubs you can find way to swim separated ...

most residents are male here .. females are in minority

it is not so nice feeling ...

Well, since you are a muslim woman you will fit right in. Prayer is still 5 times per day. You will get to cover your face so no one will know what you like or that you have lots of make up and also cover your body so no one will focus on your designer jeans or norice if you have wide hips (big kabooze). You'll get to drive a big landcruiser so fast you will feel like your on the autobahn. Oh, and no regards for other people on the road.
