Jyotika, i m sure u r totally confused by now seeing all comments...U know, i was having health card so i used to go MUMTAZAH CLINIC TILL my 7th month of pregnancy..If there r no such complications while first delivery,i think therez no harm in going to the primary health clinics..TOUCHWOOD, me n my baby were absolutely normal throughout my pregnancy..The pre-delivery treatments can be done even at the primary health clinics...I know many of the QLers won't be agreed..But i didn't face ne pblm till my 7th month...They referred me to the HAMAD from 30th week of my pregnancy, which i think is very time consuming..I just went once at HAMAD...I opted DOHA CLINIC (which is expensive as well if u dont have medical insurance) for my weekly check up from 31st week onwards..My delivery went fine under the guidance of Dr.Salma at DOHA CLINIC..The staffs, nurses and doctors at DOHA CLINIC r really very helpful and cooperative..
Rest depends on u..100 people will be having 100advises..Just have faith on u and on ur GOD..everything will be fine..Is it ur first baby???If yes, then be calm and relax..Don't take tensions..Avoid lifting heavy objects..Don't bend directly from ur stomach..Eat proper food..It will be mine advise to you that try to read about pregnancy on SITES..Its really helpful and will ease ur worries...BEST LUCK...
ohhhhhhhhh,u r very lucky i see all people here try to answer ur question.i just advise u don't worry too much u will bring 1 ,2 ,3 ,4 and 5 babies in good health ensha2 allah
Dra Sonia in al emadi hospital....shes a very clever and friendly doctor...y not try all the doctors recommended and compare how they treat patients,,,only one thing i can say...Dra Sonia is the most friendly ob-gyne i ever met...
i also consulted Dr. Khudsia Begum. shes quite nice. her no. is 4447585. Al Ahli is ofcoz the best in terms of gynae and delivery but its very expensive. its good if u dont mind shelling out loads of money or u have med insurance.
You should see Dr. Zeenat Rizvi at Alh-Ahli Hospital. She is the best in town. But it is very difficult to get her appointment. The problem here in Doha is shortage of competent doctors. There are many good doctors in Hamad Hospital but their system is pathetic.
