Hi all, I am being transferred to Qatar in February. I have 3 school going boys presently in classes V going to VI, VIII going to IX and XI going to XII.

Would appreciate your inputs on good quality schools of CBSE curriculum in Doha.

Thanks in advance for all your help.

DMIS....

The school admits children to the KG and Grades 1 to 9. Higher grades will be included gradually.

Choices of Indian schools are plenty, but sorry to say that standard of teaching is below par. Again it depends on where your kids have been studying. If you are from UAE or Oman, be ready for disappointments. My biggest lose in shifting to Doha from Muscat is my kids schooling.

Only 2 schools are offering 11th & 12th, MES Indian School & Ideal Indian School.MES seems to be the better one, especially the boy’s section.

Please examine carefully before admitting as your elder son is into a very crucial year of study.

Thanks! i did check out the websites and have found loads of info. I was hoping for some first hand feedback from parents who have kids going to any of these schools and their experiences.

Can't comment about the standards of the school but you will get a lot of choice in CBSE schools. There is BPS (Birla Public School) and DPS (Delhi Public School), MES and may be more. It is not very difficult to get admissions in these schools or so I have heard. Here is the link

http://www.bpsdoha.edu.qa/ for BPS. Good Luck.
