This is true.

You can teach in one of these 'schools' with no teaching qualifications and no experience. They are rote learning robot factories where kids are not allowed to think for themselves. I have taught kids who have transferred from these 'schools' and they have to ask about the most basic tasks given to them because they must only do exactly as they are told, nothing more nothing less. Self-initiative is a dirty word there.

Whenever I have spoken to teachers who have had the misfortune to teach at the International School of Choueifat, their responses have always been the same: "Do not even think of teaching there." Why might that be, I wonder? Is it true that parents at Choueifat schools are not allowed to speak to parents?

You will be damn lucky if you get admission there. I have been trying to admit my kids to that school for almost two years in vain.
