Hi everyone,

Does anyone know of any judo clubs in the West Bay area or a short drive away. Been looking and can't seem to find anything for judo. Moving to Doha in August and would like my son to continue with his judo lessons.

Thanks inadvance for your help.

Thank-you for replying but im still none the wiser!!!!! Do you happen to know at least the name of the school where the judo classes or taught? You seem to be quite knowledgible, please share!!! Great that classes are taught in Arabic/French going to be good for my son to continue his french. I'm not yet in Doha and think that it is going to be impossible to find with the info supplied!!!!!! Would be more than grateful if anyone has any contact names/numbers or an address/directions.

Thank-you

Good luck finding judo. There is a judo federation off one of the ring roads (D?) that you can't get to it because of road construction. I believe that building is not being used due to construction, but a public school off the "Landmark" road is a temporary judo club. The club is French/Arabic, with Algerian teachers. They seem to do a pretty good job running a club, lot's of little kids. Supposedly the Qatar team works out there, but I've never seen them, as they are always traveling. But the Algerians seem to keep the club going. The Qatar Olympic Committee doesn't return emails, so give up there.
