Filipina here, married with 2 kids. My husband recently lost his job and is currently job haunting and now that he is not earning anything, we are slowly getting into debts to survive and pay for our daily needs. That leaves me to be the sole provider and with my current earnings, I can't seem to see any hope on how to be able to make ends meet. Can someone please help me find a better job? Please do not ridicule me by saying "why don't u apply or try harder?" I did all that but I guess at the end of the day having someone who could recommend you makes a lot of difference. All I need is to be given the chance to be interviewed, I do not expect to be given the job right there. I have a solid Administrative background from reputable companies here in Doha. I currently get 7k as a package. Please, help us. I thank you for any kind of help that could be given. Or kindly please pray for us. Salamat po (Thank you very much!!

7k for admin job is already good. Fyi, Qatar Airways only offers less than that for an accountant as entry level.

I guess you should help your husband to find a job instead of you looking for a job which will pay you more.

7k is not bad in fact I consider it a big salary already for an Administrative job and a Filipino nationality.

I doubt if you could find bigger salary in this time of global crisis.

Hi, I do understand how you feel. But I am just wondering, why you cant survive with 7 K/month with 2 kids?

2 years ago, we only survive with my husband salary the same amount you mentioned 7K! and my kids both are going to school. We made it!

I think in this hard time, you need to adjust everything like moving to a cheaper flat (we are paying only QR3000/month for 1BHK) and I think Philipines school doesnt really expensive. All you have to do is cutting cost and adjust and adjust.

As Admin work 7K is very good salary for private companies, except if you able to find job with top class company like QP (which believe me, really difficult to get!) ..

Hold on there, keep trying, help your husband to find a job.

Good luck!

mauvecraze...i posted since i am in desperate need of help from people who have kind heart and the right level understanding in teh situation we are in. As a mother, i am ready to do whatever it may take to save my kids and to keep them with me. The worst situation that could happen if this continues for long time (husband not able to find suitable job and me with staying with my current 7K p/m salary) is to send teh kids back home, since we can no longer afford to have them with us. Plus the fact that I am looking for a better paying work to be able to make ends meet. Anyway, I sincerely thank you for your suggestion. God Bless you!
