Kids holiday reading and story telling group[

i just arrived in doha (this is July 2008)and am really curious if there is such a thing as kids holiday reading groups or any fun or recreational activities connected perhaps to a local book store. if not, I would be delighted if anyone would be interested to set one up with me. (Perhaps we could incorporate fun art craft activities as well.) i came loaded with books - in english- but kids want always to choose themselves- especially books related to the latest movies such as Speed Racer, Kung Fu Panda etc so the greater pooling of books the better ya. Love to hear from you
