Long engagement relationship ends with marriage?

I'm just wondering why do couples comes to an end after all the sufferings they have been through. I heard a lot of stories about BF's/GF's finally broke up after 5-10 years of being together. Then when they sees a new one next to his/her ex-partner they come easily to marriage. Is that what they said? spark from the first time of seeing each ader?and he/she feels that this is the RIGHT ONE for me?sounds so 'corny' but it's true. The sad part is, partners get involve to each ader easily and also easily ends up with nothing, and there comes this 'divorce or legal separation' are you PRO of it?

And also, Do you believe that there is this such thing as BEST FRIEND(boy and girl ha?) coz my perception to that is, someone is holding more than a friend feeling thats why it works!..hehe

unfortunately, most long engagements do end in break ups, coz any relationship that has not gone anywhere in 5 - 10 years WILL NEVER go anywhere near commitment.

2-3 years would have been enough to know if you want to commit, and beyond that, there are lots of issues. you get bored, coz it is not going to the next level, when it should.

after breakup, there's still life...just learn from your mistakes...and what would you do if the relationship is not working anymore? hang on it till death? better to separate ways than to suffer the rest of your life...

Because that's the way it is. And it doesnt mean finding your right one is corny. God has his plans for everyone... (apologies for a religious answer) and others might have some other explanation... up to you to choose.

life is easy, just go with the flow...

try not to indulge fully to anything and keep all choices possible, thus no hearts breaks and no disappointments !
